Authorities were searching the yard of a Santa Ana home Thursday after receiving information that a body was buried at the location approximately 30 years ago, police said.

Detectives went to a residence in the 600 block of South Center Street to search for any possible human remains following a tip from an informant, according to Santa Ana Police Department Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
They spoke with a male resident, who told police that about 10 years ago, workers redoing the backyard found possible human bones, along with a knife, Bertagna said.
The two bones "appeared to be human ... from the knee down," according to Bertagna. Both were discarded.
The man told investigators he expected police would come to his home eventually.
“When he met the detectives, he said someday he knew he’d be talking to them," Bertagna said.
Adalid Arroyo, a resident of the home, told KTLA he thought he felt the presence of ghosts multiple times in the home.
“Two or three times I feel like ghosts on top of me when I sleep,” he said.
On Thursday morning, a cadaver dog from the Orange County Sheriff's Department searched the yard, and there were "hits" in the same spot where the bones were uncovered a decade ago.
Orange County Fire Authority crews came out to drill some holes in the cement, Bertagna said. Investigators would bring the cadaver dog back after the drilling was done to determine whether they needed to break the cement and start digging.
No additional information was immediately released.
