An Orange County man was arrested for the alleged possession of child pornography.
The suspect was identified as Luis Manuel Partida, 38, of Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
Officers began investigating Partida after an investigator assigned to the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force discovered Partida had been allegedly downloading child sex abuse material from the internet.

On April 15, detectives served a search warrant at Partida's home on the 2200 block of West Knox Avenue in Santa Ana.
During the search, multiple electronic devices were seized and evidence related to the downloading and possession of child pornography was found, police said.
Partida was arrested for felony possession of child pornography and booked at the Santa Ana Jail.
“The Santa Ana Police Department is proud to be a member of the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which is dedicated to the investigation and prosecution of individuals involved in the abuse and exploitation of children via the internet,” the police department said.
